(TITC) – In the 110th anniversary of the founding of Kon Tum Province (9th Feb 1913 – 9th Feb 2023), the Tourism Information Technology Centre (under Vietnam National Administration of Tourism) – TITC, coordinated with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Kon Tum Province to launch the video promoting the tourism of the province with the theme “Kon Tum – Cultural experience – Explore nature”.
The video “Kon Tum – Cultural experience – Explore nature” aims to promote the pristine beauty, pure and unique features in the cultural tradition and daily life of the people of the Central Highlands.
With a duration of 2 minutes and 20 seconds, the video clip shows audiences a brand new experience. From beautiful and poetic ecotourism areas, diverse national parks, to majestic waterfalls, immense terraced fields, flowers display a stunning diversity of shapes, sizes, and colours, all have created a colourful natural landscape.
Not only possessing rare natural beauty, Kon Tum also has a unique cultural imprint that has been passed down through generations, expressed through outstanding architectural works, local customs and traditions, traditional ethnic music, or unique cuisine that carry a flavour of the mountainous region.

The endless road leads to Mang Den – a treasure in the great land
Mang Den is the fascinating highlight in the journey to Kon Tum. The endless road appears in front of one’s eyes with two sides are green pine trees, faintly fragrant tree resin in the wind, bringing visitors to a magnificent and mysterious Mang Den. Hidden in the middle of an altitude of 1,200 metres is the sacred Khanh Lam Pagoda, which is a harmonious combination between a peaceful and poetic natural place and a dignified and superficial religious building.

Pa Sy Waterfall owns the primaeval beauty
Leaving Mang Den full of lovely memories, visitors proceed their journey to Pa Sy Waterfall, where it is often linked to a rapunzel hair. Coming here, visitors will be overwhelmed by the majestic beauty of primaeval forests, rich flora and fauna and beautiful waterfalls lie between heaven and earth. A masterpiece is done by Mother Nature.

The majestic Kon Tum Cathedral with a history of more than 100 years
Besides the beautiful natural scenery, Kon Tum is spectacularly attractive due to its long history and long-standing traditional cultural identity. With more than 100 years old and extremely sophisticated all-wood architecture, Kon Tum Cathedral is one of the must-see places when visiting the land. The project is a delicate combination between the modern culture of the Western Europe and the bold national identity of the Central Highlands. Over the years, Kon Tum wooden Cathedral seems to stand by the time, retaining its ancient and splendid beauty.

Kon K’lor Communal House (Nha Rong) – the cultural beauty of the village community
One of the familiar images when referring to the Central Highlands in general and Kon Tum in particular is the traditional communal house (Nha Rong), which preserves the beauty and breath of village community culture. Located on the romantic Dak B’la river, Kon K’lor Communal House is known as a community house, as well as a common place for local people. Visitors will have a chance to immerse themselves in the bustling festival atmosphere, in the sound of gongs with lively music. Along with the bold architecture of the Central Highlands, Kon K’lor Communal House – a cultural symbol of the Kon Tum community will surely bring visitors new and unforgettable experiences.

The sound of gongs echoes the sound of the mountains
Music is the indispensable “chicken soup of the soul” for the people of the Central Highlands. With a mixture of cultures of ethnic groups living together, Kon Tum is diverse with traditional folk music. One of the characteristics of the musical instruments here is the sound of gongs carrying the breath of the mountains and forests, creating melodies that are simple, yet powerful, and soaring.

Fantastic cuisine
For foodie lovers, Kon Tum specialties will bring a unique experience, keeping visitors to stay longer on the journey to discover the land. Simple yet tempting dishes are Grilled Pork Skewers, Grilled Chicken (Ga nuong com lam), fish salad with yellow ants, sturgeon cooked with bamboo shoots, Highland red vermicelli, Kon Tum fried crickets, and coffee, wine, Can wine… Their names may sound strange at first, but once enjoyed, they will leave a “forever” footprints in visitors’ minds.
In addition to the traditional cuisine, Kon Tum is famously known for its rare Ngoc Linh Ginseng. Dubbed “Vietnam’s National Treasure – A Treasure of the forest”, the green sprouts of ginseng grow over a long period of time accumulating the quintessence of heaven and earth. With precious medicinal substances that bring many effective uses for health, Ngoc Linh Ginseng is processed into various product lines such as ginseng tea, ginseng bird nest, ginseng soaked in honey…
