Ho Chi Minh City has launched its 2025 summer tourism stimulus program, covering an array of cultural and culinary events to establish the city as a vibrant and welcoming destination.

The program serves as both an artistic showcase and a creative learning space, inspiring cultural engagement, especially among the youth.
In the first five months of 2025, Ho Chi Minh City attracted 3.1 million foreign visitors, up 40.2% on year, while it welcomed over 15.08 million domestic tourists, marking a year-on-year increase of 7.7%. Total tourism revenue rose 26.7% year-on-year to US$3.73 billion, up 28.9%.
The digital travel platform Agoda recently ranked Ho Chi Minh City as the top destination for short getaways in Vietnam.
Nicknamed the “city that never sleeps,” Ho Chi Minh City offers a vibrant mix of street food and nightlife, catering to the growing preference among Vietnamese travelers for brief, energy-replenishing trips.
